About Us
Fern Web Design Services began its journey in the late 1990s. This was the dawning of the Internet and websites. It was an exciting time for Fern Web, being on the ground floor of this new technology. Who knew how the internet, websites, and social media would grow and take over the way it has.
Being one of the first allowed us to expand our staff and bring on really devoted people who wanted to learn and be a part of this technology. We reached out to many companies that didn’t understand these new influences and what they could do for them.
Fast forward over 25 years later and we are proud to represent hundreds of clients. We develop and host regular and customized websites with large databases.

This is where our artistic side shines. We conceptualize layout, colours, typography, branding, and user flow. Whether it’s wireframes for a WordPress theme or logo elements for a client site, this phase sets the tone for user experience.

Explore
We research frameworks (React.js, React Native, PHP, WordPress), plugins, and libraries that support our design. This is our playground — experimenting with code, testing components, and learning best practices.

Apply
Time to make it real! We convert your design into working code, optimize it for speed and usability, and finally deploy the site or app. This includes debugging, refining, and sometimes revisiting step 1 and 2 for improvements.
Clients are everything
One thing we’ve learned over decades of working with customers is communication. We listen to our customers to understand what they want and what they need. Which are not the same thing.
